Persuasive Unit-Beginning

I am attaching my lesson plan, I will try to attach as many files as possible of the materials I used. Please understand that this is a 4-5 week lesson plan and I am only including the first three days. However, I did attach the final project with its rubric.

I begin the year with persuasion and am interested in lessons that exposé students to China. It is a good idea to encorporate the piece from "This American Life." I found a short article about a teen in China who sold a kidney for an IPhone
And an IPad that I thought would generate discussion. Thanks for sharing.
