These are terrific photos. Please do keep them coming. When scanning, however, please be sure to just scan the photo. I've cropped Karen's beautiful "colors" photo and attached it to this post. It should be a bit faster to open.

Hikaru mentioned that his original photos were quite large and clogged the system. He and others may want to reduce their photos to 800x600 or 1024x768. They'll fill the screen, but won't be so big that they take forever to open.

Hey y'all, is it too late to submit pictures? Anyways, here is my submission, late or not. This picture is taken at Jiu Zhai Gou in Sichuan Province in Southwestern China. I don't really no what to name it but a childhood book comes to mind, Where's Waldo? When taking this picture, I asked Henry to take a snapshot while I jumped a fence and ran into the rocks near the water...it was quite treachorous to say the least but well worth the shot. It's beautiful!

Keep the photos coming! Adding the story behind the shot makes them all the more interesting. The gorge is spectacular.

Any shots of dorm/campus life to share? Any more shots from the field trips? Anything from the stock exchange, etc.?

This photo was taken in Su Zhou, right outside of Shanghai. I really like this picture because it depicts classic chinese architecture, i.e. the pagoda, and then the modernity of development. If you look closely in the foreground, you will see streetlights, buildings and my favorite, a McDonalds plastered bike/rickshaw. I have one word: McDonaldization.
