This film is on the lighter side but it does bring up some cultural questions. The wife is presented as a sweet, milk toast housewife and the husband likes that. As the film progresses she is presented as a party girl and the husband continues snooping on her. It has some interesting gender roles, I couldn't tell if the film enforced or disregarded gender roles till the end. It had some pop culture items that we discussed in class like "Hello Kitty" and the need for everything to be new. It was overall entertaining but not for the classroom, it has some strong language.
