Reading Is The Way Up Grant: https://www.cnb.com/about-us/company-overview/corporate-social-responsibility/literacy-programs/reading-is-the-way-up.html

City National Bank’s Reading Is the Way Up grant provides a great opportunity for teachers to bring literacy programming to the classroom.  Check back in October to apply for the grant.  If rewarded the grant, recipients will get a notification in the spring semester.

Grants are up to $1,000.  I’ve applied to the grant before to fund books and author visit projects.  I’m thinking of applying for the grant this fall semester to add more diverse literature in the library.  Think of a creative literacy project and apply.  I just noticed that the grant also supports field trips!  The application is not too long.  The possibilities for programming are endless.  Good luck!
