I think our meal today was as close to authentic Chinese cuisine as one can get in L.A. My personal favorite dish was the shrimp with the light cream sauce over rice. Yummy! Seriously, I couldn't believe how much food was coming out. I could have muddled my way through lunch with the chop sticks, but chose to chow down with a good old fork. Didn't want to make a fool of my American self.
Something in the soup didn't agree with my taste buds, but other than that, what a lovely lunch in Chinatown. Wish we could have stayed and wandered around a bit, but that's trip for another day.
