Hi Folks,
Let's use this area to introduce ourselves. I am originally from San Diego, but have lived in Los Angeles since 1996. I taught in secondary schools in San Diego and at colleges in Beijing, Kentucky, and Los Angeles. I am a historian by training, but now tend to focus on contemporary China and on China's ties with the US. I worked at UCLA for nine years and am in my ninth year at USC. I've gotten to work with Catherine Gao for more than seven years. It's a privilege. I enjoy reading, photography, and hiking.
