Well I’m glad I finally made it to the last class of this seminar. I found this seminar to be really tough, although I really and thoroughly enjoyed it. Mr. Clay Dube makes it so interesting in what he is teaching. He is so enthusiastic about the subject of Asia, the wars, and all of the happenings throughout I really enjoyed listening viewing the pictures of how tiny the apartment dwellings are and how costly they are. Given that there are so many people inhabiting Asia it makes sense. However I cannot fathom living in these types of quarters with ones in-laws, children, spouses, and brothers /sisters. It would drive me mad. But under said circumstances, that is why a lot of Asians own their homes here in California, because I hear that they live like this here in the U.S. they all live together to pitch in for the mortgage on a home someone bought until it gets paid off, then they buy another property and pay it off in the same manner until that is paid off, and so on and so on, until all members of the family own their home. That is a nice and bright way to become a homeowner. Unity is the word, the same way unity was brought up in the propaganda posters and cards we were to analyze
Also it was interesting to note that in 1949 Britain recognized China because the food, water and energy supplies were coming from China.
It is also interesting that the government rules who can marry and who cannot, and the criteria one has to meet in order to be allowed to wed, very interesting.
