Session 12 Reading
During my schooling I had never understood the complexity about the communist party. It is highly organized. I had never even read about the impact that communism has had in Asian countries. The politics in Asia have long been influenced bu Western politics and some of the Western ideas were even implemented as part of the Red Party.
The following is a breakdown on the Communist party that China followed as political hierarchy in the party.
Communist Party as Lennist organization
1. general secretary (high rank communist leaders)
2. standing committee
3. polit uro
4. central committee
5. national party congress
6. provincial party committee
7. district organization
8. party sections in work places
9. party members
10. structure of the chinese communist party (lower rank communists leaders follows higher orders)
For party members that violated the rules required party discipline that based on the offese the party would decide about punishment. Disciplice actions were even practice on high rank officials such as Zhang Zhidong (1837-1909), according to Zhang Zhindo on the Central Government, "the leading qingyi scholar, sought to combine Chinese ans Western learning in a way that would enable China to launch reforms without losing the essential qualities of the Confucian political and cultural way." even nowadays we see a growing population of students from China that attend college in the United States.
