I was very intrigued by the presentation on Manga, as I think it's a literature form that many students can relate to; when I was last at a bookstore, I noticed that the Manga section was the most crowded aisle but I didn't take it any further. After we discussed manga during the seminar, it was interesting to learn that Manga is enjoyed by all age groups. The bookstore I visited had mostly teens crowded around the volumes. I decided to review manga websites for use as classroom aides and found three very interesting sites:
http://www.managafox.com. A great looking site with a lot of personalization and a tremendous collection of manga, all free of charge. The titles are searchable and the directory is a great place to start.
http://www.onemanga.com.
http://www.mangavolume.com. This is interesting for its very large user community....creating social networks for students interested in manga might find this useful.
