    Title: Soul of Samurai (2005)
    Director: Michael Zomber
    English with narration
    Run time: 46 minutes

The documentary-style film using 3-D technology of famous Japanese woodblock prints. Interviews with experts assist the film with identifying the spirit and tradition of the samurai class. A short film that can be used within one class period for background knowledge purposes. I would recommend the film as an introduction to the time period of Japan when samurai's Bushido was the code of honor. The film heavily covers the code of honor and Zen Buddhism. The history of the katana and how the swords were tested, as well as background of the armor used by samurai. The Nagashino battle, Sekigahara, and the 47 Ronin is also covered extensively.
