    Use of the website:

This is a great website to be introduced to students who are interested in China and its society. In AP class, students may utilize this website to catch up with the current social events and changes happening in China. In other Mandarin class, we can choose different topics to compare with current events in America. This will help students to see how similar issues can be handled differently in two countries. For example, currently we are watching “American Factory” on Netflix in my Mandarin 4 class now. This documentary provides a very unique perspective for us to see how the two cultures clashed in this factory that provided plenty of job opportunities for the people in this town. Business cultures is highly connected and influenced by the big culture. Although students are usually not into long readings, we can always split the readings and have each group create a skit to present their part of the stories.
