A neat website for students to access instruction about Asia is “Spice” sponsored by Stanford University. This site is best for teachers, but still easily accessible for students to explore. Teachers are able to click on several of the links provided to guide the objective of their lesson. For example, there’s links specific to researching programs offered in Asia schools, while there are other links that focus on the history, culture, and politics of Asia as a whole. Out of the 29 links available, my two favorites are “Asia for Educators” and “Smithsonian Center for Education and Museum Studies”.

The website “Asia for Educators” offers modules, curriculum, and interactive activities about Asia for students. There is also a vast amount of information to teach several aspects of Asia in-depth with corresponding articles and images. On the other hand, “Smithsonian Center for Education and Museum Studies” is a website with different tabs that focus on a single primary topic. Some of these tabs include arts, social studies, language arts, etc. This site is extremely colorful and appealing to the eyes of young students. In fact, the online website is purposely called the “Smithsonian Learning Lab” because its primary audience is the student population.
