I was lucky enough to be invited by Giant Robot to a screening of CJ7. This is S.Chow's latest film. The audience was treated to a question and answer session after the viewing.

I was and am thoroughly delighted by this film. I would really like to have my students see and discuss this film. The themes and morality of the film were powerful and delevered with much humor and humanity.

I am thrilled that this film was not dubbed in English. I really believe that the dubbed versions of Asian films weaken the integrity of the film. I remember those awful dubbed versions of Asian films on "Kunf-Fu Theatre." The unremarkable voice overs took away from the films.

CJ7 is a film that sent a clear message about values of young people. Materialism is taken to task.

I hope you all go see CJ7 when it is released in theatres. Take a friend !
