I have attached a copy of the study tour letter recommendation. Please click on the icon below to download it. Save it to your hard drive and if you are interested, please begin working on it. The due date is Feb. 8, 2006.

I am really looking forward to knowing whether or not I will be choosen for this study trip -- I won't hide this fact! 😀
I am concerned however that the package with all of the website and lesson plan copies and disk that Portia & I sent together last Monday has not been confirmed. I will have my packet with 6 copies in the mail today. As teachers we are simply so busy ... final grades were due last week and essays to grade and return ... not to make excuses but going right to the deadline is not an indication of priority (being considered for such an experience is naturally MY priority) but ... it is simply a reality of the time of year for all teachers that we are running out of time. I would love to hear some sort of "okay" the course work is on the correct desk. Also ... who from the Torrance group qualified? Hope these are okay questions to ask -- I just know that many of us are wondering about these questions so I am putting them out there.

I know for sure that from West, Tracy Sprague and I were the only two that applied.
We will all find out by mail March 1 or thereabouts.

I got my packet in the mail as well. Just got my application in to Fed-Ex on the 8th. I got nervous when I hadn't gotten my letter of rec. back yet from a administrator (retired) who said she would be happy to do it for me more than a month ago. All of my current Adm. is new (one VP has only been here for a week). My new principal was nice enough to write one for me, although I really wish I had gotten one from someone who knows me better...
