This story is about how the sun and the moon came to be. As I listened to this story read in Korean with English subtitles I found some similarities to the story of Little Red Riding Hood. I also saw some similarities to some African folk tales I have read to my class in the past.
During Lunar New Year time this January/February I will have my class listen to me read the subtitles of this story and we will compare and contrast this folk tale to other folk tales we have read.
