    The website is http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/asia.html

The University of Texas Libraries offers a great variety of maps for all countries.  There is a section dedicated to Asia maps.  There are also specific maps according to the country you want to research.  They have many maps for China, Japan, and Korea.  Each country has maps organized by topography, thematic, and history.  They even provide links for maps from other websites.  As a second grade teacher I don't think this is kid friendly since it has many words and can be overwhelming for them, even my high students.

I would use this website by creating direct links in my symbaloo account so that they can just click and go directly to the map that I want them to see.  This will allow students to get direct access without having to scroll down and read through all the title maps.  This is a great resource for all grades and shows how maps change through out time and how labels change depending on the country you are looking at.  I will definitely use this website.
