This website is an excellent resource for researching Chinese posters from propaganda, politics, history and art. The website offers an array of posters that are organized by themes and historical time periods in China such as the Great Leap, Cultural Revolution and many more. Each poster comes with an explanation and overview of its historical and social context. The website features a gallery, themes, artist and resources pages. The resources page is particularly useful because it provides a link to texts from Chinese publications on Chinese art, posters and propaganda, an additional bibliography, audio, video and additional links. This website would be useful for both teachers and students and I plan to use it in my lessons on art and the Cultural Revolution.
