GuestYou're not alone when it comes to needing help.
I'm using an IBM format. I got the program installed, but a lot of the controls, such as background color are gray.
I'm going to take a break. And then try again. Does anybody have any ideas?

GuestI tried and tried and tried loading the cd into the computer and had difficulty. However after the third time, it took. I think i have Mozilla on the hard drive. At least there's an icon. Try again Larry! See you soon. Evangeline

GuestI’m a bit worried about Mozilla. As I mentioned earlier, the program did not successfully load from my CD disc to my Mac iBook. Later, I had success loading it from the CD to a Dell PC. I returned to my Mac iBook and downloaded Mozilla from the Web. I had success. Shortly thereafter, however, the screen on my iBook went crazy and I have been unsuccessful in solving that issue until now. Of course, I cannot be sure it is Mozilla, but I am suspicious that there may be something amiss in Mozilla’s coding that may be causing the problem. I will be heading for the Apple Store in Pasadena to check it out. I will get back to you.

GuestHi,
It is now a good day! I successfully loaded the cd on my PC (home computer). For some reason, my computer kept giving me an error message to load the CD, when it was already loaded. This is why people get frustrated with computers! Never give up!Larry

GuestFor those who want to use a bit more advanced Web design/Web editor program, at http://www.macromedia.com you can download a program called Dreamweaver MX2004, which includes a function to upload the pages to a server (taking the place of CuteFTP). The program is not free, but the 30 day TRIAL period is, and is fully functional, w/ TONS of bells and whistles.

SpectatorNetscape Composer and Mozilla Composer are quite similar. Attached is a guide to using Composer to create webpages. It's the same guide that is in your binder.

GuestOk--I'm in Santa Monica College's class on web design for photographers so I'll have the opportunity to do mine with Dreamweaver. There's a site called studentdiscounts.com where you can get major discounts on all programs. It's located in W.L.A. on Robertson or you can order on-line.

GuestGreetings. I'm back from my 5 weeks of galavanting around Europe, and ready to get going on my web project. I'm going to put together a page of NEW Asia; Links to some of the Popular Culture to be seen in East Asia. So far I've got links showing the following: Japan - pop music, toys, street fashion, and Butoh dance; China - new bicycles, contemporary films. Korea - Automobiles, Dance Clubs.
I would appreciate any suggestions and/or URL links that you think would fit this topic. Thanks.

GuestI've tried to upload my website to the server as per the instructions in our big blue binder, but it doesn't seem to be the correct settings. Did we get a separate sheet with instructions, including server, log-in name, password, etc. to get the site posted? If anyone has the info, would you please email it to me?
Thanks much.
