I will be Teaching an art unit on Japanese Manga and Anime and have found this website to be very engaging and informative. It is organized into categories containing articles, images, movies, links and games aimed at exploring the art form known as Anime. I like this site because it will introduce Anime to new viewers and engage and enrich those students who are already fans of the art, the story lines and the animation. As I surveyed my classes, there were a few students who where avid followers of the Naruto episodes but they were not knowledgeable about the Japanese history behind the art. THey where totally engaged in the story line and to my surprise are sparking the interest of other students even before the unit begins. The site is easy to navigate and appealing to the viewer. There are a wide range of topics including the Art of Anime, the popularity and far reaching appeal of the genre, literary , cultural and historical elements, and the fun and games that Anime formats deliver.

I am looking forward to using this site as one of my resources for my unit on The Art of Japanese Manga and Anime
