This site, "dedicated to the promotion of greater understanding and cooperation between the US and Korea", has a wealth of resources for all ages. There are podcasts, ranging from folktales for children, to lectures on issues effecting Korea and the US. Younger students could identify themes and similarities to more Western folktales. Before presenting, please listen to the entire podcast to be sure it is appropriate for your age group. Lesson plans are given, using art activities along with the folktales. Other resources are listed. Similarly, but local, is the http://www.koreaacademy.org/ This site has free field trips, seminars, and other resources for teachers and students in Los Angeles.

in the resources there are some good things to use in 6th grade. Korea is not part of our curriculum but a few stories and such will be a good addition.
