The Japanese American National Museum is a very useful website for educators. When a teacher is unable to take their student on a fieldtrip the teacher could bring the museum to their students. This website has online exhibitions that students could navigate and learn about. The students could read letters, analyze pictures and artifacts, this could lead to richer classroom discussions. The site also offers resources for teachers on exploring topics related to the late 20th and 21st century.  This website is not only to teach about Japanese American history but  it brings pride to Japanese American people. There is an online exhibit by Barbara Kwakami that focused on textiles and clothing that was worn by Japanese immigrants.
