    Korea

Another web site worth visiting if one is interested in the history of East Asia is Hidden Korea. It can be found at http://www.pbs.org/hiddenkorea/history This site, created and sponsored by the Public Broadcasting System, explores multiple elements of the Korean culture to include it’s history, geography culture and religions as well as the Ch’usok or Chinese Lunar Calendar which was used until recently to mark important historical events and ceremonies. Like the website for Japan, the displays are well thought out and easy for even a novice researcher to use, hitting on important elements that lead to a better understanding of the Korean culture.
