A second website that I reviewed is called Asian Education by the Asian Art Museum. The website contains a section for educators. The website is easy to navigate, those on the site can select a region from a map provided to see the resources available for that section. Those on the site can select from videos, lessons and activities, as well as Artworks and background information. I first selected artwork for China and found a wide selection of artifacts which I selected one and was taken to another page with information about that art piece. I selected a bowl with brown mottling from approximately 1100-1279. I found out it was a tea bowl and that it was used by variety of social classes.
I would use this website to conduct a web quest in my class. It is very informative and allows for many activities to be completed in class. I found this website to be very useful.
