    Website Review  https://www.aiib.org/en/index.html

I would use this resource in Government or Economics, but you could also use the source in many other classes. When exploring the Belt and Road Initiative, this website would be interesting to have students look at an organization that supported the initiative. Starting by looking at their mission statement, student could uncover: what is the organization's intended goal?, how are they achieving it?, and why is this a specific goal? This website is easy to navigate and shows projects that have been approved, along with ones that have been canceled. I would like to use this source because it showcases the ideology behind the BRI in addition to the connection to environmental action as outlined in the Paris Agreement to combat climate change. This source does have bias and a particular viewpoint that is supportive of the BMI so it is important to balance it with other sources. I would have students balance this viewpoint with courses similar to what we looked at during week 1 regarding infrastructure in Africa. After the deeper exploration, it would be interesting to have students draw their own conclusions about the advantages and disadvantages to the BRI. A possible extension would be to hold a socratic seminar to discuss the themes, conclusions and questions students have.
