I was searching for websites for the Samurai and stumbled upon a website that goes above and beyond what I was looking for. This site offers a whole unit on the arts of the Samurai discussing how the warrior class was created, their religious practices, and describes the Samurai through art. Because it is a website of Asia, there is also much more to be learned. It is very easy to navigate and there is a search section in the top right that allows you to put in whatever topic you want to search and the site will organize all the information on that topic in a way that is easy to understand. This website was compiled from the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco and it really is a treasure trove of materials and lessons for teachers who teach about Asian cultures and/or countries.

website can be found at: http://www.education.asianart.org
