This link will be good for my middle school students. I will incorporate this information when I teach Medieval China in hope to show how people and civilizations change over time. I hope for it to spark conversations around what it means to be a good leader. Thank you for posting this information. I find it most helpful.

As I was reading more about the Cultural Revolution I came across this website that I thought would be great for teaching students. Although I don’t think students at the grade level I teach (1st grade) are developmentally all that ready for a topic that deep, I think it would be a great tool for teachers to use with older students.
This is a website from the history channel and it provides a great, easy to follow synopsis of the Chinese Cultural Revolution. It also has speeches and video clips that are relevant to the topic.
