I am posting here two websites that I use to find data for presentations and activities in class - in addition, the students will access these when doing research.

    1) Our World In Data https://ourworldindata.org/

There is a plethora of data in numerous visualizations and presentations. The students can interact with the graphs as many are interactive.

    Topics include:

Demographics, Health, Food and Agriculture, Innovation and Technology Change, Poverty and Economic Development, Living Conditions,Human Rights and Democracy, Violence and War, Education and Knowledge, and the UN SDGs.

The first time I take the students to the site, I let them play around - just so they get the feel of it and can 'play around'. Then I give them the assignment.

    2) The Atlas of Economic Complexity (from Harvard)  https://atlas.cid.harvard.edu/explore

Another amazing interacting data - all economic in which the students (and me!) can get lost for hours, so the assignment has to be really specific! They can choose to see the data in different types of graphs, so this is SUPER helpful in prepping them for the AP Exam!
