Glad to have this info. I have surgery scheduled for 9:30 AM on the 18th. I have a bone spur in my shoulder, and it has torn my rotator cuff. I am getting another cortisone shot right before we leave, so I should be fine.

My students are doing presentations this week. One part of their presentation was that the airport at Osaka is built on water and is sinking every year. Has anyone heard anything about this?

What time do we arrive in China? I remember the teachers at the orientation stating that we had to stay up all night. I am just trying to prepare myself for what's ahead.

    Hi Sharon,

We'll arrive in Beijing at 8:05 pm on June 27. We lose a day going and gain a day returning.

I remember the teachers saying it was a VERY long day. I am bringing a sleeping pill, so hopefully I can get on the right time quickely. I read in the LA Times recently, that even though not FDA approved, more and more people are using sleeping pills to conquer jet lag quickely. If you do not have any yet, may I recommend Lunesta. Ambien did not work for me, but Lunesta was incredible. As long as you have 8 hours to sleep, you get up not drugged at all, and ready to hit the ground running. Really wonderful, but it is perscription.
