Korea.net is a one stop shop for all things Korea. The website itself, serves as a bridge for others to learn about throughout the world. I enjoyed how user friendly this website was and how it was well labeled and provided a good mixture of sub-topics under the five main sections (News Focus, About Korea, Events, Resources, and Government) ranging from History, cuisine, and my personal favorite was the sports section.

In the classroom, this could be used well as a WebQuest for students with guided questions pre-written before the activity by the teacher. I’d use this website to introduce Korea into the Cold War or during our World Civilizations and Cultures unit. The website is easy to read the information and provides a balanced approach to text and pictures and the amount of useful information one can obtain from visiting it. My only critique of it was even though I know it is a South Korean website predominantly, I would’ve liked to see some information about North Korea in it. With a name like Korea.net, I expected to see both Koreas represented equally and I did not.
